Nalafem is driving accountability work on the implementation of the Maputo Protocol and Generation Equality Action Coalitions commitments. The focus for our advocacy is supporting member states to implement the B+25 Manifesto. As such, Nalafem aims at bridging the gap between policy and implementation, making sure young feminists are at the forefront. We started developing an index that will track progress made by African member states in the realization of the B+25 Manifesto. In addition, our advocacy efforts include in-country Missions, multi-track diplomacy and activists roundtables that are influencing the implementation of the B+25 Manifesto demands.
In the lead up to CSW68 (2024), Nalafem has been hosting a webinar series on Accountability as a platform to bridge the gap between policy and implementation, making sure young feminists are at the forefront.
