Call For Nominations
Nalafem Summit is a two-day conference that brings together the most influential policy-makers, politicians and activists to take action, together towards the liberation of African women and girls.
Nalafem Collective is hosting an Award Ceremony & Gala Dinner on 2nd July 2023, in Nairobi, Kenya. This prestigious event will celebrate and recognize the outstanding contributions of young feminist organizations towards advancing the realizations of Africa Young Women Beijing+25 Manifesto (AYWB+25 Manifesto) demands.Â
This call is open to young feminist organizations working on advocacy of one of the 10 demands of the AYWB+25 Manifesto, a ground-breaking feminist political document that demands for: Economic justice; Criminalize Gender-Based Violence; End Gender-Based Discrimination; Access to Justice and Protection; Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights; Mental Health and Well-bring; Inclusive, Equitable and Quality Education; Digital Justice; Silencing the Guns; and Intergenerational Co-Leadership.
AWARDÂ
- The selected organizations will receive recognition and celebration during the award ceremony at 2nd Nalafem Summit in Nairobi, Kenya.Â
- Each selected organization will receive a grant of 2,000 USD.
ELIGIBILITY
- Young feminist-led initiative
- Working in one of these 7 countries: Burkina Faso, Kenya, Malawi, Nigeria, Rwanda, South Africa and Tunisia.
